As a leading nominee this awards season, Wicked: For Good<\/em> star Ariana Grande is bound to deliver plenty of statement looks over the next few months, as she continues her best-supporting-actress campaign. But if you thought that would mean she is shedding her love for Glinda pink in the process, you are mistaken: The star embraced method dressing once again at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica this evening, wearing her character\u2019s signature hue.<\/p>\n

In promoting both Wicked<\/em> films, Grande has been consistent in her devotion to wearing Glinda pink: She has sported many princess gowns that nod to the sugary-sweet wardrobe that she sports onscreen. At the Critics Choice Awards tonight, she leaned on Alberta Ferretti to keep that momentum going, sporting a custom off-the-shoulder gown in pink satin by the label, draped in an embroidered full-length cape. But her beauty? That was all OG Ariana.<\/p>\n

When it came to hair, the multi-hypenate chose to combine not one, but two of 2026’s biggest hair trends into one stylish look. It’s also a debut of sorts since Grande popped the bubble on her blonde Glinda hair and went back to her roots, tonight’s shade coming through rich and warm with a little help from Los Angeles colorist Brandon Pietsch. The star’s darker lengths were then curled and pinned by her longtime hairstylist Alyx Liu. Both sculptural updos and side bangs came together into an Elizabethan-esque updo that’s both soft and romantic.<\/p>\n

It makes sense that Grande would give Glinda style one more go tonight. After all, once this awards season concludes, she will be hitting the road with her Eternal Sunshine<\/em> tour\u2014meaning trading her Old Hollywood for modern-day clothes fit for a pop star. Call it one last stylish hurrah!<\/p>\n
